Kampala City Itinerary

 

Kampala is the vibrant and diverse capital city of Uganda, nestled within seven hills that make up the city centre and its suburbs.  The capital is steeped in interesting history and culture.
There are fascinating places to visit within the city:

- The great Kabaka's Twekobe (Kings Palace)
- Buganda Parliament
- Kabaka's Lake - largest man-made lake in East and central Africa
- Kasubi tombs - burial place for the Kings of Buganda
- Uganda Martyrs' Shrine
- Gaddafi National Mosque
- National Museum
- Bahai Temple

 1 Day - Itinerary


Following breakfast at your hotel, you will be greeted by your driver/guide. Your morning will commence with visits to religious and cultural places like Gaddafi National Mosque on Old Kampala hill, Bahai Temple, the only one of its kind in East Africa, and Namugongo Martyrs shrine.  Lunch can be a venue of your choice, or be guided on a venue by our incredibly knowledgeable guides.  During the afternoon you will visit the Uganda Museum, the Kasubi tombs, Buganda Parliament (Bulange), the Lubiri (Twekobe house), and Kabaka's lake.  You will be returned to your hotel in time for dinner and a relaxing evening.
