Fishing, Canoeing and Boat Excursions

Mountaineering

If you enjoy spending time in the fresh air surrounded by stunning scenery, then Colobus Tours can arrange fantastic mountaineering excursions for you and your party. Uganda's Rwenzori Mountain range borders Uganda and DRC, and at its highest point the "Margherita peak" it reaches 5109m with a permanent snow cap. This mountain range is also sometimes referred to as the "mountains of the moon".

Mount Elgon lies on the east of the country bordering Kenya. It makes for stunning exploration as it is the oldest and largest solitary volcano in East Africa, covering an area of around 3500km square. The area around the mountain is protected by two Mount Elgon National Parks, one on each side of the international border. The mountain is home to several rare plants.

Choosing from the above mountains the climbing and trekking will give you an incredible experience through breath taking landscapes, fresh waters, flora and fauna.
